Speed effects shooting difficulty correct? If it does (which honestly it should in my opinion), shot first and then increase speed. But if the speed doesn't matter our should be fine in whatever order.

Speed only matters if you take the gain the advantage maneuver. Which upgrades attacks against your target... But you dont have one main target at the mement.

Okay, but right now all of our targets are somewhat vague. It'd be nice to know what we are up against, specifically.

Since we are in a tank, our biggest adversaries are going to be artillery and other tanks. Especially those in our path blocking our way to get home. One of us could also continue to call down artillery shots to help clear the bridge.

Ok. Well you have 6 tank squads running towards their tanks. 5 parked tanks.

You have nearly a battalion of droids approaching from the command building. Mostly B1 battle droids. You know of at least 5 droid artillery locations currently clearing the bridge.

Between you and your base you have an attack force of at least a battalion, 10 tanks, tri-droids, etc...

Basically you are in the middle of an enemy base with your cover blown.


Your allied forces are way back to the rear and you are just outside your artillery's range... that is if you wish to try calling them in with their track record and no "overwatch" to aid their efforts.

Your main blessing is that the droid artillary has been tied up clearing the bridge and the tanks to the rear have been unmanned.

Roll a hard perception check with a success you find one. Or flip a DP and you have one. I am at work and can not actually see the DP pool so if you don't have one let me know and I'll upgrade an attack against you.

We could also dodge out and flee into the tunnel.

THESE nearby droids know us. Each of those we take out is one less tank to fight.

Looks like we should try and make it to that tunnel. It can't be that far from where we walked. I say we SPEED towards the tunnel and evacuate.

By the count, we have 1LS DP left. If we can shoot the ammo heap to cause smoke and distraction, then I am for spending it.

What would it take to set the tank to self destruct? If our plan is to head back through the tunnel we could rig the tank to explode.

Maybe set the anti-personnel blasters to continually fire and then have the main gun shells explode when the other guns over heat?

Each advantage you spend on time delay is an additional round of delay. So you can have upto a four round delay.
It will take to advantages to trigger a blast quality so engaged (planetary scale) Ill let you double it for an additional two (though that might not let you have enough time to get out.

Getting out of the blast radius of engaged planetary range would be difficult on foot. It should be enough for you to get into the tunnel below the tank if you park close to it.

Maneuver to enter or exit pilot chair (gunner chair etc) probably before you set the charge.
Maneuver to open hatch (Probably will be done before setting the explosive)
Action to set and program explosive(action)
Maneuver to exit vehicle
Maneuver to climb pile
action to climb through small hole you made (Ill forgot the check since you have already done it once
Maneuver to climb down the latter into the tunnel.
maneuver to get out of way so others can also get into the tunnel.


It looks like two rounds is the minimum with whoever set the charge having to take strain for two additional maneuvers, one in each round. The others would only have to take strain for one as they do not have an action the first round (if they are already out of their chairs on a previous round, two if they stay shooting until the last minute).

A piloting check. I would suggest going at speed 1 so the difficulty is only CP instead of CC at speed 2. You haven't gone very far so the speed difference should have that great of an impact.

You may also want to use a DP to upgrade your roll.

With the 2 Advantages from the roll is it possible place the tank in an advantageous spot where it will do the most damage while still allowing us to escape?
