Lol you have your orders nite you just need to narrate what you do to fulfill them. I'll give duffle when you decide tasks. Go ahead and pick things your characters agree good at or you think might be useful.

I think there are only 2 gunnery positions which Doc and Blast already claimed. That's why Wook took a seat in the cabin, but knowing how our adventures have gone so far he'll have something to do soon...lol

Doc didn’t claim a gun, he was just stating how easy it was to shoot now. I figure that Doc can float and do repairs as needed or help fill the engineer spot while the co-pilot isn’t needed.

That means there is a gun open for blast. There is also probably a terminal in engineering that could access scanners etc... In sort I think everyone can do something. I even if it is just looking out a window.

So I don't want to dictate how you complete your mission, but if needed I can give difficult for poison me checks.

I;m fine with that. It is mostly narrative and would have much in game effect other than letting your character make a manual perception check out the view screen. That is something I would have allowed anyways as a means of allowing all PCs to be included.

The image that appears on screen is the extent of what you have from the ships scanners. They were not actively scanning as they came to an allied planet. There are six clone capital ships in orbit that you know of. They appear to be stationed on the side of the planet closest to the sun.

To be clear you have aproximately one day before the rest of your forces arrive. The goal for this day should be to set up your troops for success. Any advantages, triumphs, and successful checks can be used to provide key information to aid your forces in the upcoming battle.

I like the plan being discussed in the IC so here are some checks and associated difficulties.

Piloting (space)~standard check i.e 1/2 sil and speed smaller upgraded by the larger.
Kn Warefare ImageImage ~to get an idea what the sensors are like on the other ships and general knowledge about the set up.
Astrogation ImageImage ~plot a course for the test run
Computers ImageImage ~ run the ships scanners
Computers Image~ coordinate communications with the other ships
Perception ImageImageImage~ looking out the window for anything of use.
Leadership ImageImage~coordinate the efforts of everyone involved.
Gunnary ImageImageImageImage~ evaluate the fields of fire for allied ships. Two setback are for not being on those ships when trying to make the estimates.


Any talents which remove setbacks on checks without setbacks can provide a boost die. Each pc may make a single check. If they do not wish to make a check they can provide assistance on another PCs check.

It is my intention that you have the potential to make 6 sets of these checks during the day if the ship is piloted at full speed. Speed 2 allows 4 checks to be made and Speed 1 allows 2 checks to be made.

The piloting check needs to be made first. Any threats/despairs advantages/triumphs on that check will provide setback/upgraded difficulties boost/ upgrades on all other checks made during that sweep.

Doc did cool. Your computers should have another green.

Also I forgot to mention a Co piloting check is allowed to downgrade the pilot check. If that hairbrush though the Co pilot can not make a different check for that sector.

However since the piloting check affects all the others it is up to the group.

Fixed, I forgot to hit the button again.

Can more than one person make the same check for a sector? Gunnery for example. Or would it be a waste and not worth it? Basically would it add the two checks to give more information?

Would warfare only be useful once? Or are all of the ships in the blockade different types?

Yes checks can be made multiple times for checks that make sense to do so. I.e. Gunnery can be done multiple times, but piloting, co-piloting and computers for communicating efforts could not be. Knowledge checks could be made multiple times.

The kn warfare check is simply a representation of using your military knowledge to see errors/ gaps or potential weaknesses. Each ship could have made different errors or something else could be noticed so it can be done in multiple sectors.

Also the type of benefit will be dependent on the type of check made. I.e. using the scanners will give a different benefit than a perception check than will a gunnery check.

Ships sensors are set to detect at short range on all four quadrants of the ship.
Sensors are automatic within the range (short), but can concentrate in one direction out to Medium range.

Warfare might be the most beneficial from Doc. Though a communications (computers) check could provide a ton of stuff too.
