Big Ten plans to use Let's Ride to get into the seat, a Maneuver to Punch It up to Speed 4 (suffer +2 System Strain) to avoid potentially getting caught in this hyperspace jump (throwing caution to the wind). Action to fly the ship, I think. Maximize the use of the 3 Boosts THIS turn.
By my count, it is a CCDD difficulty (1/2 Sil = 2, Speed is 4)
Will spend a LS DP to get YYG dice pool.

If you can get 2 Successes on the Co-piloting, it'd be 4 Purple with a 65% chance of success I'd roll. Each success downgrades difficulty (C to D). I think we'res till on the Firespray.
You get three boosts from the six advantages on the check to release the airlock. Those working on it notice something about the blasters giving you time to maneuver before the shooting starts.

I need a piloting check. 1/2 sil and speed. So depending on how fast you want to go the more difficult the check. You start at speed 1 and can increase to speed two. If you continue accelerating to max speed you will be out of the field in two rounds. if you stay at speed two it will take three. At speed one.... you are a sitting duck!
Will Speed 4 from Punch It get us out in one round or two? Or, is it better off going speed '2' and then Punch it to '4' in round two? If I can do it all in one roll, then I will.

Either way, a copilot check is needed.

I'll do a co-piloting check soon if no one else volunteers.
sounds like it will still take 2 rounds to get clear even with max speed though

If you want to punch it to speed four then by all means. Big Risk big reward and I will say that that will get you out of the blaster area in one turn. By that I mean back over by allied ships where you blend in.

I'm not sure if I'll have internet for the next week. If I don't post, someone can roll for me if necessary. If my character dies, tell my story to the to new batch of clones. :mrgreen:

LOL. I don't anticipate much happening to kill any of the veterans at this point.... but my plans as GM never seem to work out.

With that kind of roll I would have failed even going at speed one! I haven't rolled that many failures in a long, long time! so, I guess we just ping pong around the hanger like a pinball the first go-round.

Now we're behind the 8-ball, so I really need to punch it in order to make it out.

lol. the good thing is that you did not roll any threats. threats and despairs allow me to hit you with the capital ships weapons :) A failed attempt just meant that you did not acomplish what you set out to do. Going off your narration, I went with your character shut it down when he was jostled about.


Speaking of dispairs. I am flipping a DP to upgrade the next check.

Whoever makes the next check pleas upgrade it and click the useDS button in the initiative tracker.

So if I were to angle the shields BEFORE the co-pilot check I would eat the more difficult roll?

Computers Average for PR right? Or would that abuse it?

You could, but You are flying through a field of blaster fire. There is no way of knowing which side of the vehicle would be hit. Even the front is a potential target as the pilot may need to turn towards the front or back of the malevolence during one of his turns opening it up to fire.

OK so we have completed a lot since our last session. I am just going to say that you guys all go up one contribution rank and get a personal or group prize accordingly ~ this is for the veterans only.

Veterans are awarded 80 xp Rookies 60xp (1/2 =40 then 1/2 of the remainder because they have been playing).


For the veterans we are almost ready for you to enter the other thread. There is some time for you to requisition your rewards and resupplies IC if you want or you can just let me know OOC.

Your next mission is to perform an inspection tour of the various sensor stations in the different sectors, You will have done several of these before you land at the one the rookies are in.

I'd consider a group item as a better ship. The Firespray is Passengers = 6. One Pilot, Two Guards.

Otherwise, BigTen would like Rarity 4 Grenade Launcher with a Weapon Sling and Custom Grip.

I agree with a bigger ship for a group item.

But if we go with personal gear I would like a Defender Sporting Blaster Pistol (Rarity 6, HPs 1) with Set Trigger Attachment.(Rarity 4, 1 HP)

Asking for the moon I know.

If I could make a suggestion or a ship? Did they ever stat the Nu class attack shuttle? Might be a bit big mind since it’s supposed to carry 30 troopers.

Firespray is good too but I was just thinking of known Republic ships.
