Doc did his medicine check on Wook and Ten9 is going to coordinate with the ARC to begin coordinating with ground forces to work out the rescue I believe.

Probably. Space battle over? Situation on planet's surface? Do we need a Perception check to show how our search comes up?
Firespray has short sensor range
ARC has medium sensor range.
We should fly together just in case we run into enemy fighters. Ten99's Situational Awareness talent gives +2 Boosts to Vigilance and Perception through our communications.

I should have clarified this before the rolls but piloting through cannon fire I had intended to run the same as piltoing past a capital ship using defensive fire. In that case a successfull piloting check would just mean you were able to stay on target take another piloting action or continue on your current course. A failure would mean you did not acomplish that goal. 2 threats or a dispair would cause you to be struck by the cannon fire.

It was already narrated differently in the IC, and I am loath to make that change especially since it is not in favor of the PCs for for this encounter Ill run it differently.

I was expecting worse. Regular artillery will destroy a modern day tank.

So each time you want to move to a new location you will need to make a piloting check. At low altitude you are out of the arc of fire of the artillery but you run the danger of hitting the planets numerous crystalline structures. A low altitude check has two setbacks, but does less damage on a hit than artillery does.

So if you want to do sensor checks or something like that go ahead.

The fear is still in effect until you set foot on the ground and have a moment to recuperate. On that note setting down and going by foot is also an option ;)

So you're saying that the same check would apply (Red-Red), plus 2 Setback dice in order to fly below the radar?

I can make a sensor check as I do fly low. ...looking for pods / survivors.
"Allies' within close range of me gain +2 Boost dice. Can we make a group check?

What happened to the despair I rolled? Did you notice?

Yes that is what forced you to low altitude. The difficulty can be reduced if you slow down or with a copilot check.

We have time to run the scanner before landing? What exactly should I even scan for?

It would represent you scanning as you come in. What you are looking for is up to you. Downed pods and droida are two possibilities.

I was thinking droids as they were the current threat and scanning for additional pods once these were secure.

Scanning is out to Short/Medium PLANETARY Range from the Firespray & ARC. It'll cover quite a portion of surface on this small moon. :)

You identify another dozen escape pods, and multiple formations of droids which appear to be searching for them. You see a verry large concentration of droids at the far end of your range including several tanks, or at least you think you do. The numbers on the screen keep chaning and in the time it takes to fly low identify the two pods and land the large formation has disappeared from the scanners.
